Installing an official module or plugin
Create a backup, then open Administration → Extensions. Upload or select the official extension package and review its requirements.
The extension manager should verify:
- the package signature and publisher;
- the supported BusinessSuiteX core versions;
- required PHP extensions and permissions;
- dependency conflicts;
- the extension license and update entitlement.
After installation, assign permissions and test the extension with a limited role before rolling it out. Never overwrite the core application manually to install a plugin.
