Configuring scheduled tasks

BusinessSuiteX uses scheduled tasks for queued email, reminders, recurring processes, license synchronisation and maintenance.

Create one cron task that runs the scheduler every minute. The exact command is displayed in Administration → System → Scheduler because the PHP path differs by server.

Verification

After creating the cron task, wait several minutes and refresh the scheduler page. The Last heartbeat value should update. If it does not:

• confirm the PHP CLI path;
• verify file ownership and permissions;
• check the application and cron logs;
• make sure the command uses the same PHP version as the website.
