Installing BusinessSuiteX

1. Prepare the domain

Create a domain or subdomain, enable HTTPS and point its document root to the application public directory.

2. Create the database

Create an empty UTF-8 database and a dedicated database user. Grant that user access only to the BusinessSuiteX database.

3. Upload the package

Upload the release archive, extract it, and keep configuration and storage directories outside the public directory whenever your hosting layout permits this.

4. Run the installer

Open the installer URL and complete the environment, database, permission and administrator steps. Delete or lock the installer when setup is complete.

5. Activate the license

Enter the BusinessSuiteX license key or Envato purchase code exactly as supplied. The server needs outbound HTTPS access to the licensing API.

6. Configure cron and email

Add the scheduler command shown in the admin panel and send a test email before inviting users.

Always create a complete file and database backup before installing an update or extension.
