Email and SMTP configuration
Open Administration → System → Email and enter the SMTP details supplied by your mail provider.
Typical settings include the SMTP host, port, encryption method, username, password, sender address and sender name. Use port 587 with STARTTLS or port 465 with implicit TLS only when supported by your provider.
Send a test message after saving. When it fails, verify that outbound SMTP is permitted by the hosting provider and check the application log for the exact response. Never post an SMTP password in a public ticket or knowledge-base comment.
